Editorial Office

The Editorial Office is responsible for preparing the SWP's texts for publication. As well as copy-editing manuscripts in consultation with the authors, the SWP's editors perform all the pre-production publishing functions: formatting manuscripts in the appropriate in-house styles, proof-reading, preparing files for printing and internet publication (pdfs), and coordinating the printing process. The Editorial Office also organises the work of external editors, graphic designers and cartographers, as well as commissioning translations for English-language publications.
