European Global Strategy (EGS, compl.)

Initiated by the four foreign ministers of Sweden, Spain, Poland and Italy, the »European Global Strategy« project consists of a series of workshops, conferences, and an ongoing online debate. Based on the premise that in times of flux new strategic thinking is indispensable, the process aims to lay the foundations of a common European strategic culture. This project started in July 2012. At the end of the year-long process in May 2013 a final report will be published spelling out essential elements of a European Global Strategy.

The process is led by European think tanks, one from each of the initiating countries. Stiftung Wissenschaft and Politik actively participates in this debate as an associated partner.
