The SWP offers two fellowships for

Visiting Researchers (3 months) in the framework of an Israel Research Project

With the following fields of expertise (either/or)

  • EU–Israel relations
  • Israel’s new foreign relations with non-Western regions/states (e.g. China, India, African States)

Qualifications and Expectations

  • PhD in Political Science, Social Science or related disciplines
  • Relevant publications in one of the focus areas
  • Research and/or working experience in Israel
  • Excellent English communication and language skills; Solid knowledge of Hebrew is desirable, German advantageous
  • Experience in research based policy analysis is beneficial
  • Readiness to write a policy paper is expected

  • CV including a list of all academic publications

The fellowship will be awarded for 3 months in 2018. The exact period is flexible to a certain degree. We offer an attractive stipend corresponding with level of experience/qualification. The SWP promotes equality and thus explicitly welcomes the applications from women and disabled persons.
